you need more than equala quantity of evidence to prove truth of all things with that quantity. E.G. if one piece of evidence exists for an idea, and that idea is true, then EVERY idea that has one piece of evidence according to your idea, therefore.

Well if there is no evidence of either and faith is the only thing you have - then either can be true or not.

I do believe in God, but I didn't say that I do. And I didn't call people who believe in ghosts and not God "idiots," I just said you can't say that you don't believe in God, claiming that "there's no such thing as the supernatural," but, at the same time, believe in ghosts. Ghosts are also supernatural.

Well, I do believe in the possibility of life outside of earth, although I don't think there is any evidence for them yet.

As for ghosts, I do believe in ghosts, but not really in the way that some people do. In 1 Samuel, Saul calls up the ghost of Samuel to speak to him, and I consider the bible to be true. However, I do not believe in the kind of ghosts that are merely "caught on tape" or whatever, on these ghost-hunting TV shows.

But aliens would not be considered supernatural anyway, but cause theoretically, they are scientifically possible.

"theoretically" anything is possible. Ghosts, aliens, god, bigfoot, the lochness monster, the tooth fairy, etc... Heck theoretically you could sprout wings and fly off a cliff.

Well, yes, but there is no scientific possibility of a god. Aliens are scientifically possible. Don't get me wrong, I do believe in God, I just believe He exists outside the realms of science.

The reason I don't believe in god is because if the so called god is there he doesn't give a f**k about me (which, according to the bible, is highly improbable) because I never get assistance from him. Seriously, why isn't he helping me? I HAVE MULTIPLE SUICIDAL FRIENDS FOR GOODNESS SAKE. I don't believe in spirits and such because they never just hurry up and murder me, which would be kinda cool. No one would believe how I died but that'd kinda be the best part.

Can't say the same for many believers in God. Most I know discount ghosts and aliens as imaginary. However, contrary to the OP's meme, I know more believers in ghosts and aliens that DO in fact believe in God or at least a "God like" being (for lack of a better term)

However who I have met is not 100% indicative to the majority...but it could be....who knows?

I think ya'll are missing the point, I'm not saying that in order to believe in ghosts, you have to believe in God, I didn't even explicitly say that I believe in God in the first place, I'm just saying that you can't dismiss the possibility of a God, just because "there is no evidence of the supernatural", but also believe in ghosts, because they are also supernatural.

And just because YOU say there is evidence of God's existence, that doesn;t mean it is evidence to someone else. Just like THEIR evidence of ghosts existing (as you mentioned Ghost Hunters or whatever) isn't real evidence to you.

Hold on, I think I see what you're saying, but maybe I just wasn't being clear. What I'm saying is that some people claim that there is no evidence of the supernatural, so God must not exist, but some, SOME, of those same people also believe in ghosts. I'm simply pointing out that it is not a valid argument to say that God can't exist, "because there is no evidence of the supernatural," because ghosts are in the category of supernatural.

Making that argument, you either have to believe in both or neither.

Also, I didn't say that there was any evidence for God; that was another guy. I literally just said in another post, in this forum, "In my opinion, there is no scientific possibility of a god. Don't get me wrong, I do believe in God, I just believe He exists outside the realms of science."
