Just thinking about having my catheter removed when I was getting to leave the hospital 15 years ago makes me cross my legs. Got a rod in my leg and plates in my chin from interaction with a car as a pedestrian, but the most discomfort I felt that entire time was having that long thing pulled from my wang. :(
My brother got into a very, very bad motorcycle wreck, and I mean he was f**ked up! He had one and he described just about the same thing you just did about taking them out, I'm cringing right now myself!
