I agree. I referred Beckett to the Meme Theme Stream so that it can get more support. Even with all of the other theme weeks going on during Old Ad Week, that support really helped get it noticed, and people participating. Heck, I almost missed posting anything to Yoga Pants Week because I didn't know about it until I saw a few posts on the hot pages. I would have figured out a way to incorporate the event into Old Ad Week like I did with Monty Python Week. Bob Ross week is coming up. And I just got an idea how to incorporate a promo for that with Pokemon Week.

I have to pass on running this one because I just had old ad week a couple weeks ago and have comic book character week coming in May, with May The Forth and free comic book day sandwiched in there. Anyone can have a theme week. By posting there In An available week, this allows other members to know ahead of time, plus allows others to promote it for better participation.

Many facetious comments have a good grain of truth to them. This was one. Propose it as spelling error week to give grammar Nazis a vacation of nervous breakdown.

Theme weeks should not be just for the top folks on the leaderboard. This is Pokemon week, but it started out as a new user posting that it was a particular character week during another theme week. I made some suggestions to broaden the field, told her to find an open week, and the week is looking successful. Go for it!

Expect Gramatical Stormtroopers to be knocking at your door any moment! (I love the idea)

I have to proof read about 20 times before I submit and even then miss mistakes. Being lysdexic sukcs...

Actually mine is a pretty mild case but it still sucks.

Spelling & grammatical errors drive me up the wazoo but what cheeses me off is when the word prediction stuff changes something that it doesn't recognize (like "fdisk") changes it and I don't catch it until AFTER I've posted!
