Hurt his shoulder, left the game, met my mom and had Hokeewolf 11 months later! I hope Verlander can match last year and the rest of the Tigers stay healthy.

The Yankees will at least be fun to watch this season .

I saw them play Detroit a few weeks ago. Tanaka looked good. Struck out the side first AND second inning.

First game we will see. Grew up in Boston still a Sox fan, live in Baltimore now. We see about 10 games a season, Orioles have a great ticket plan for kids called the Dugout Club.

And Big Papi is gone!

Some good years so far in this century for a Sox fan:)

I did a baseball one yesterday :)

They were my "local" team at the time.

I played in the same city rec league with Smoltz just before the draft. When we played his team he wasn't scheduled to pitch. 95 mph in high school....

Holy cow!!! In my opinion he ended up being the best of bunch due to his dominance as a closer at the end of his career. Maddux was the better starter though.

I know, after he hit it big I wish I would have faced him. He was actually always hit pretty hard in the Stan Musial league and minors with the Tigers. 95 down the middle in high school is unhittable, down the middle in the pros go 425 feet the other way. Wish he was a hall of famer for the Tigers...
