1.) Liberals (myself included) are fully aware of the differences between sexes. There is, however, a small section of the population that suffers from a condition called "gender dysphoria", which causes intense psychological discomfort with one's assigned sex. The best treatments currently available are surgery and/or hormone replacement, along with a supportive, encouraging network of family and friends. Psychological treatments aimed at eliminating this discomfort been shown to be ineffective and even harmful.
2.) The World Health Organziation recommends that all women have access to contraceptive devices and safe, affordable, and legal abortions. To ignore the recommendation is nothing short of foolish.
3.) Plenty of Liberals follow some system of organized religious worship, and a large percentage in the United States are Christian. Among those who don't have a particular religious affiliation, a large number consider themselves spiritual, agnostic, or non-religious instead of atheistic.
