This is actually not true. If you was to eat only 2 lbs of bacon a day for a month, you would be able to lose weight. Depending on how it was cooked and the type, it would be 2,000-2,500 caleries, would be a source of protein, and it helps cut out the carbs.
Now that pile there is probably about 10 to 15 lbs of bacon, uncooked, and if you was to try to eat that much in a day, thrn yea you could end up with some problems.
