Up-votes on old memes are like residuals for a 40 year old song

It's happened about 4 times this week

Imgflip used to update the Latest page at the top of every hour. Now, they do it like every 15 minutes. So, if I get through the Latest then I start flipping through the random feature. Anyhow, that's how I end up commenting on old memes.

when you click on a "tag" to see related memes, sometimes it brings up really old memes, i've commented on some of those

XD Steve, you get me on Youtube vids. People sometimes post comments on a 10 month old vid sometimes

I like flipping through old memes, I don't think it matters if it's old or not, if I feel like commenting, I do. I don't usually even look at how old it is.

I have no problem with it, it just seemed odd to me that 4 old ones were commented on this week alone. I appreciate any and all comments and up-votes, and do my best to return the favor when I can.

Just a lucky week I guess? It does seem a bit odd.
