I'm with you. Violence isn't something that we should be condoning. Just look at ninja and his willingness to support violence towards those with whom he disagrees. We have to be better than that.
I've only been in two "fights" in my life, and they were both started without warning (i.e. I was sucker punched in the face both times), so I can't really comment on my fighting abilities since I've never been in an actual fair fight where I could prepare myself. I think it goes without saying that in both instances, the other people were doing all the fighting; I was on the defensive (also take into consideration that both times, I was outnumbered).
