Evil Socialists

They are all examples of things our government already contributes to to various degrees.

I am not saying they're evil. But they are 100% socialist services that arent contributed to or owned by the government--they are parts of the government.

So a service has to be completely run by the government to be socialized?

We can parse words. The original meme gives examples of socialism. Whether you consider that good or bad is another story.

We're forced to obey the speed limit or any other law else suffer a penalty. People who use the word force in association with socialism are just trying to undermine the ideal.

Well even the speed limit is forced. Most sane people agree to limits on most things. Socialism will always be forced, because it will always stifle anyone who wants to achieve more. For people who cannot help themselves from natually being capable of achieving more, it becomes torture. If the limit is set too low, the whole society will suffer by being forced into running at a frustratingly low speed.

Again you like to use the word force. All taxation can be seen as forced as well as what is done with it. Plenty of things I disagree with my taxation already. I'd just rather it be used for good instead of bombing countries and lining corporations pockets.
