Snowflake avalanche

In an avalanche, a snowflake knows not where it is going. It blindly follows the crowd. An avalanche leaves destruction n it's wake and considered not it's destination. It was merely unhappy where it was and favored blind motion. And in the end, snow always melts. (If you really want to try and push this metaphor)

Nobody calls you a snowflake because you don't support the president. They call you snowflake because anything and everything will cause you to melt.

The following may help you realize why your choosing an avalanche analogy causes so much hilarity:

There are two basic elements to an avalanche: a steep, snow-covered slope and a TRIGGER that causes a WEAK LAYER within the snow pack to collapse.

P.S. All that "you're special, unique, there's no one like you", dribble is parent-speak for "you're a quirky, weird, little oddball".
