go to Add Image
insert image over the original
search for the template (remember to check the box for user created content)

the two catches with that
- you need to know the name of the template you're looking for, if you want something specific
- and the image you choose may not be the same size as the original image. so then you pick one of the popular templates with roughly those dimensions and select your desired image and resize it appropriately

I can resize images on my computer no problem, but can't do it on my phone. I guess it takes more practice & patience than I have time for.

I only have phone access. All my memes are made here. If I ever get internet on my computer, I'll be dangerous

Usually, I go to my hard drive or google images. I don't know if it's a bug or by design, maybe that feature is available in the paid version...

Moshii has it right. Find the template you're looking for, download to your device, then use your own image to upload back. You can also do customized images as well

Select upload your own image, select select file, once file selected, hit upload image.

For a long time, I couldn't use Firefox to log into YouTube, but j tried IE and it worked. Only thing I used IE for other than downloading Firefox.

Add Meme / Upload Your Own Image

Not a pro feature. I have pro. Just tested and doesn't allow other than your own template, popular, or upload from your device. I have over 1200 images on my phone to chose from

I'm only using my PC and even when I upload an image and submit it, that doesn't guarantee the image will be in my images. Some get on and some don't. I wonder if it might be made a little more user friendly lol

I use my cell phone and haven't had a problem with uploading.

How many images do you have in your templates? It may be a problem there. Are you hitting the make public your template? That'll take you away from the conversation you're in.

Got a few images there & definitely make public and yes that was the problem, it was taking me away from the conversation. On this occasion it didn't. So I'll keep an eye on that. The successful one appeared somewhere in the middle of them all rather than at the start or the end. I might need to empty a few of the old images in my section plus see if it works without having to submit the meme before hand next time. Thanks again. That's good team work!
