I've only made front page once, page 2 once, and page 3 twice. Focusing on points and placement takes away some of the fun of meme-ing. Making comments on others' memes, making friends on Imgflip, gets you noticed more. Many's the time I checked out the profile of someone I hadn't heard of before who had commented on one of my memes.
