Not just other places on the internet. Also funny T-shirts, bumper stickers, cafe signs, joke books, family conversations, funny TV shows and movies, real-life situations that are funny - the list goes on and on. You can get meme material from almost anywhere.

And all users do that, not just top users. That's what we're doing here. It's a meme site. And that's what's fun about it!

I mean like all craziness_all_the_way just rips gifs off Instagram and stuff. Reposts like that aren't front page worthy

Lol where else are you supposed to get gifs from? It's not like we're all going to go out with movie cameras and film everything ourselves.

The whole point of something funny online is to find it and pass it around, so others can enjoy it too. That's what you're supposed to do with it.

I know what you mean about some stuff not seeming front page worthy. I look at some things on the front page and wonder how it got voted up there. Maybe what I think isn't front page worthy would be different from what you think isn't. Everyone has different tastes. But if it got voted up there, that means a lot of users like it and enjoyed it. I honestly think it's better to just scroll past that stuff and not worry about it.

Also, top users aren't doing anything different than other users are, apart from maybe being more active on the site. So it seems strange that you mentioned top users in particular.
