I don't think you know how points work. You also get points for comments left on your meme, and additional points for memes left on your meme. That aside, since the points don't matter for anything; I think the *win* is in making a fun meme, or inspiring other to.

Who get the point when I comment on your comments?
If I get the points from comments in my meme, I should theoretically harvest points by unleashing a storm of comments on your single top comment?

Anyways, I'm a very competitive person, and humanity has so many aspects to compete within, so I simply try to compete on every level there is :D

Every single person in here probably has an inbreed need to measure their memetic progress. Humans love to compare.

That doesn't mean I can't have fun along the process, I currently compete with myself in a meme-comic based on one meme only (using the "so hot right now" picture) since the ultimate memetic challenge would be to succede with one picture only, and the fun is in studying which part of my insane humor works the best :D
