Global warning? Yes, it's happening...like it has done before many, many, many times....even before home sapiens existed. Scientist drilled ice cores in Antarctica all the way to dirt. The area where they drilled was over 2 miles deep! 400,000 layers of ice-each layer made a year before. They looked at various things in those layers including amounts of oxygen, CO2, pollen, bacteria, seeds and thickness of ice, how much dust, etc. was in each layer, going back 400,000 years. What they discovered is that there have been numerous past ice ages-each one lasting about 100,000 years. Then a warning period in between ice ages, called interglacials, lasting about 10,000 years. The last ice age ended about 10,500 years
