It is the reason people still go to prison for marijuana possession and why cancer patients have to go to Colorado for cannabis oil or find a way to make it themselves. You can't patent nature, so Big Pharma can't financially benefit from it, and once it's available to everybody, there go their profits from their cancer drugs. Plus, history is filled with genocide and mass killings in the name of the Bottom Line, be it religious or economic, and humankind, sadly, has not evolved passed that. And don't you find it the least bit suspicious that as soon as you hear about a new "disease" or "condition" they already have a drug for it when it takes years of R&D to put a new drug on the market?
