I think it has a lot to do with the fact that we come here to make people laugh. From my experience it seems like people that enjoy making others laugh usually are easy to get along with. I personally believe I can get along with anybody even if they have different opinions on a lot of subjects. It's not hard to treat people with respect, and I truly enjoy making other people happy I always have ;)

He's been gone a really long time, there are a few people that have disappeared I really miss. I don't know how they could just stop making memes, I love doing this so much I don't think I could ever quit.

That would be nice. I appreciate custom memes. Especially knowing the time it takes to make them. I made two this afternoon and it took up most of the afternoon. One hasn't featured yet.

Custom memes can be a double edged sword, sometimes I spend a ton of time on something and it barely gets any views, and I have had memes that literally take me 30 secs to make end up on the front page.
The more you make them the easier it gets though, and for me making them is half the fun anyway. There is just something about creating something nobody has ever seen before that appeals to me greatly. And when I see other people make them they draw my eye a lot more than a plain regular template will. Anytime you want to run an idea by me or need any advice or just an opinion even I'm down for that. I love watching people evolve with their creativeness on custom templates, you are off to a great start I can't wait to see what's next :)

Upvotes here while nice to get aren't always a sign of how good something is. I had a custom meme I made not get hardly any attention here, but somebody posted it on reddit and it got over 500 upvotes with more than 100,000 views on that site.

Don't get me wrong I love imgflip and am crazy loyal to it, my point being you never know where one of these memes will turn up. It only takes one person sharing your creation and it can go viral without you even knowing about it. That's why I make things for the fun of making them and try not to worry about things like points. Of course it feels good to make the front page and get noticed. I've always felt that if something I make gets one person to laugh then it was worth making. Everything else is just icing on the cake ;)
