Yeah, it's an awful option to have in here when people are trolling one another just because people are taking everything so personally. It's almost impossible to have a factual debate in here without anyone getting offended and downvoting everything. So I'm definitely agreeing with you :)

I'm really trying to do that too. But even commenting on another political meme can offend people, although it's nothing personal in the first place.
