No, I am appalled by the ban. My point is that everyone is cheering this on as keeping America safe when in fact it does nothing.

It's temporary, JB. For 90 days while a new administration tries to get it's arms around what has been going on that doesn't seem to be working. It's affects seven countries with governments that are sketchy at best. 40 other predominantly muslim nations are completely unaffected, so it's not a muslim ban or a ban on islam at all. If obama did it, not a single one of the people protesting would bat an eyelash.
