The Windsor is a 351 small block (what Edsel got saddled with) The cleveland was also 351 but a big block with thick cylinder walls (requiring better oil and coolant circulation) would have been better for Edsel as the 429 cj heads and exhaust would have been an easy customer swap.
The 429s were used for police interceptors, IIRC. I took a look, and, apparently, there are a few from 1959 that were used by police and fire fighting personnel. Tried to find specs, but that was a no go. All I heard was "V8 with double barrel carb"
