I had to know eventually my whole bad luck template luck would run out. Even if I spent too much time on that bottom image lol. I put that damn shirt on her because it might have got nsfw otherwise and then a wwe DIVA wrestling belt lmao!

All I could think when I was making that shirt fit her was that Socrates would find it funny, so I know no matter what the meme is a success already. I've made so many templates with and for Socrates his opinion is important to me.
I've learned a lot from him, I guess it's respect that makes it matter to me if he gets a kick out of something. Every time I think of making something nsfw or maybe even a bit crazy even for my twisted sense of humor, I think of him and how while he never is a jerk about it he follows a amazing path of having a great sense of humor but never being disrespectful of anybody, I believe because he wants to keep memes purely about real forms of humor.
He speaks to the grown up in me when the opinion of the kid in me has gained too much influence over a situation ;) When you can look at memes the way that he does things like points and places on the leader board don't even come close to comparing to the enjoyment that can be found in these pages.

I do like Socrates lol - he's a good guy and keeps a level head. He's shy and careful what he says, like Raydog; he's a popular person and has many critics, some of whom have malicious intent. He's helped me, and many others, on imgflip and the community is better off for his dedication and good nature.

Now that I've stroked his e-peen, it's time for you. Quite frankly, you're the reason I started messing with image manipulation to begin with. You are the king of custom work and I strive to impress you lol. I can't do it all the time though. As you know customs take a lot of effort if they're of good quality sometimes. Doing customs on the fly as replies isn't any different. My point being, when you do customs I pay attention and try to figure out how you did it so I can adjust my techniques. I feel kinda like your pupil lol. I appreciate YOUR good and helpful nature here as well. I think the more of us regular people interact, the more we can separate ourselves from other sites and raise the bar standard of mature behavior.

That means a lot. I'm not sure what it is about image manipulation that appeals to me so much. I love it that I can make any type of picture I want. I figured almost all of it out by myself so why shouldn't I share it? I've had people tell me I shouldn't tell people how to photo shop like I do. That what I do won't stand out if everybody can do it. I just don't know how they could see it that way. I can teach anybody how to layer images and erase around stuff. That all you need to make a png image is a transferable background you can layer any picture over and simply erase the part of the picture you don't want to transfer.
None of that matters, nobody can get into my head and have the same meme ideas as me. All they can do with those skills is express their own creativeness better. Make better memes so that when people flip through our pages that have never been to imgflip before, they see a ton of great original artwork making jokes come to life like never before.
If I can have any part in a website like that how could I not do everything in my power to encourage others into sharing in how cool this all is.
All it takes is one person sharing a meme that you made. I had a meme that flopped here get shared on reddit and get over 200,000 views. This site enables us to create things that could be seen by hundreds of thousands of people!!! There's no need to compete or fight over who is popular here and what the numbers on the leader boards say.
Imgflip allows us to share our ideas with the world, of course it's nice to be noticed here I'm not going to lie and say my fans don't make me feel awesome. I've met so many amazing people here from every walk of life. With memes we find a way to not only communicate but share in each others experiences through humor in a way that is understood by all even if not agreed with at times.
You don't have to make the top ten pages to go viral, but I doubt many people will ever go viral if they are here just to make points. The genius of this site is that you interact with other memers and we all learn from each other. We don't want competition to interfere with the creative process of bouncing ideas off each other. Our friendship with each other is what makes us great, I think it's because as a whole creating laughter is our goal. It's hard not to befriend a person that is willing to work at creating something simply because they want others to enjoy it. I'm truly proud to meet another person like that with you.
