I prefer http://html-color-codes.info/ for custom colors. You can use the slider on the bottom section and then pick any gradient of that color.

Click on the color box and the six digit color code will pop up with the # before it. Once you found the color you want, copy that six digit code into the field in imgflip.

Good advice. I'll have to check that out for exact color codes. I've coded HTML so long, that I just get an idea of what I want and put in what I think it should be.

For anyone interested, the codes use the the RGB base and goes from 00 to FF. That would be #RRGGBB. Pure Red would be #ff0000, but if you want a pink, that would be like #ffaaaa for a light one.

When I did the Church of SPAM web page, I color coded the background #000066 for a dark blue and then text was #ffff00 for yellow.

Oy! I have ff0000 memorized, beyond that I need the scale!

Green us 00ff00 and blue is 0000ff.
U like those two darker shades, so I'll change their ff to 66.

I still use sliders or, in paint shop pro, will use their color find feature to match colors

I sometimes mix a little mustard into my ketchup. But if you want to try something good? Order a Filet o Fish from McDonalds and dip their fries in the warm tartar sauce. So good.
