Thanks. Old Pun I used before along the way. I'm kinda liking these theme weeks. Makes it easier as I have a direction on where to go. The pictures will let me know what to caption them.

For sure, I was thinking of suggesting a vintage ads week but it didn't get much traction :

You were probably going with just the humor of the ad instead of creating the humor from it. I try to do a humorous set up, but then step it up a notch. Take this classic ad. Today it's funny because they used sexist humor, although the gender they used was their target audience. Changed the tag line to something inappropriate, and now have an evil homemaker.

Doing a week takes a little prep, and I recommend talking to some of those in the know that support these. They'll show you how to get it promoted. Last week's pulp art week was a success because it was announced in advance. Ad art out there is plentiful, but you see how easy it is. You don't even have to do the before and after pic like I did. But start promoting a couple weeks ahead. I only saw the deviant art week notice last week

Dazzzer. I remembered this conversation and after the last couple theme weeks, I thought we could give it a go.

I couldn't remember who I had this conversation with, but I'm going to have it in March. This is a dummy up of the first announcement. Do you want me to add your name to it?
