Yes, I have heard about that. They have intense competitions and use wire instead of string to crash their opponnents' kites. Of course, when a kite goes out of control it hurts people on the ground.

Actually the string is made with glass!!!
I have no clue how they get the glass not to break or why they would use glass to begin with...
But they do some pretty odd things in India...
Of course Indians probably think the US has some pretty strange stuff...

I think they use this sharp string to cut the other guys string. Too dangerous!
