Sudden Clarity Clarence

I think coming back to life cheapens the sacrifice of dying for another...."I gave my life for you - Surprise! I came back to life! Oh, and by the way, I'm going to live for eternity!" Doesn't seem as touching a sentiment.

His death was unwarranted, Death had no (spiritual) legal claim on Him. So He had to come back. Also it was surprising to the disciples only because they were stupid and didn't listen to Him when He said He would rise again. Also they believed in eternity. I do't think the problem is that He came back, the problem is that you would rather He had stayed dead.

How do you gather what I'd rather? There is no "problem", brother, just definitions of sacrifice that differ from one another. And why hate on the underachievers that were the believers? Didn't the temporary martyr hand select his apostles knowing full well their intellectual defect? I ain't trying to be unkind, say you're blind, or change your mind. Just saying the story, while intense, is shady to me and makes no sense.
