It's possible they are earrings. I was hoping you'd tell me they were. If they're gauges there's not a lot of skin on the bottom part. So I'm only 50/50 on it now.

Naah, you're 100% right. You can see the lobe on the side exended to it, and they would be too high for hoops,,,
Altough the apparent lack of skin at the bottom is odd.
