Exactly what this meme addresses. Ignorance is a lack of knowledge that can be remedied. Stupidity is not only lacking the knowledge, but an inability to understand the lack. These are the people that usually trash educated people. As a "know it all", I realize where I'm ignorant and can play catch up quickly. I retain a lot of it, too. One reason why many people that debate me hate me. Instead, they usually end up calling me names.
