Good, you're keeping realistic. I hate to brag (horse puckey! I live to brag) but I hit three goals today. Two I thought, were unattainable.
Goal 1. Hit 100,000 points. I knew I could do that. I was almost at 200 K when I deleted my original account.
Goal 2: Acheive goal 1 before the end of the year. I wasn't sure as it took nearly a month to hit 50K. I got that with a day to spare.
Goal 3: make it to page one in my lifetime. I went to sleep with it on page two, woke up, and there it was on page one.
Yes, I'm in a celebratory mood.
You're doing fine. In fact, your doing your goals like I did mine on my original account. First 1000, then 5000, then 10K.
My advice on reaching the goal? Post memes, of course. Soon you'll be able to post three a day.
Comment on other people's posts. That's when I started noticing points rack up. You should be able to meme reply, now. If you can think of a witty comment or reply, meme it and post it to other peoples memes. Sometimes you'll find memes so good they deserve submission even if you already replied. Don't be bashful. If it's good, post it. You may make front page.
You'll see that between posting and commenting you'll go from 50 points a day to 100, 200, to a few thousand a day. You'll be at 100K before summer, easily. By Valentine's day, you'll be ready to to figure out and make a realistic judgement. Keep an eye on your daily points. I was, which is why I wasn't sure I'd have my 100 K until a couple days ago when I started getting 2500 points a day.
