Could be anywhere between the first and the thirtieth. Can pretty much guarantee it wasn't September 31, as the month only has 30 days. ????

All good points. I heard that the early churxh leadera chose December 25th because it is cloae to the winter solstice. That date was a big deal to the pagans that they were trying to recruit to Christianity.
