My ex forgot our anniversary one year. You'd think after 20+ years of celebrating it on Christmas Eve, she would have remembered. Especially as it was the day before her birthday.

There is "not giving a shit" though.

Divorce just final last month. 38 years.

A Christmas baby married on Christmas Eve. I made sure she got at least one thing each year for each occasion: even last year when we were separated. Her gift to me? The usual, "I'm sorry but I wasn't able to get you anything this year."

This year, I don't have to worry.

They are trying to cheer you up.
