They just don't get how much work goes into being on the front page on a regular basis. More work than I'm willing to do. :)

Two is more than a lot of other people have done...One thing to remember tho' is that most of the people that get on the front page a lot, didn't bitch about other users getting there...not saying you are but that others do.

My first meme went to the first spot on the front page, I thought that every meme did that, like it was some kind of rotation system. Took me a minute to realize that was not the case when my next 20 didn't get anywhere near it.lol

I like DashHopes a lot, we both have two immediate things in common: 1) We both make spelling/grammar mistakes often. 2) We hate being Grammar Nazied, I just wanted to beat the Grammar Nazis and you know, "Soften the Blow" of making a boo boo! Lol. :)

I'm absolutely crying here! When I was Hewbrew School when I was younger my teacher was particularly brutal about the spelling and grammar. Having ADHD and dyslexia didn't help me one bit. It's probably why I haven't spoken Hebrew in over 25 years! Lol :)

I see users with over 100,000 points and then look at when they joined and it says "joined 11-10-16" or something like that. Newer users who joined just three months ago already have 400,000 points.

I think the site has grown quite a bit over the past year and it's definitely showing. A lot more memes getting over 200 upvotes. I used to see few memes being upvoted over 200.

That surge in users is why I have reposted some of my own successful memes...so I can see if newer users will like them as well...that and I know the original poster won't mind...LOL

For me, I get in and out of "The Groove", Somedays are better than others. My first memes, looking back on them, were primitive and not terribly well thought out (wording could of been better). But as you look at other user's memes, they do inspire and teach you something , that's one of the attractions of ImgFlip for me! :)

That's how I get my best memes. :) Once I started being less aloof - or really, shy in my case - onsite I noticed my memeing improved by leaps and bounds. I'm not overtly social by nature so when I opened up to the input of others I found things came easier.
