But bear in mind, not just those from invasions of centuries past, the fact remains that most people from Europe (and elsewhere), even in modern times, came here illegally.
Becoming a naturalized citizen may be legal, but that is a process that occurs AFTER living here illegally for many years.

It's true, not all the Native American tribes were peaceful, but the Europeans still ended up being accepted into society, right? Maybe that's what we should do for Mexicans and immigrants from other places (even though Donald Trump only really cares about the Mexican ones for some reason). Learn from the mistakes of the Native Americans who weren't peaceful, and be peaceful towards today's immigrants, documented and undocumented, because they're not going to ruin society.

I'm not blaming current society on pur previous generation. I'm white myself. I'm saying that if immigrants from Europe (who were undocumented) ended up eventually being accepted, why can't today's immigrants (even if they're undocumented) be accepted now? White people didn't end up destroying our country (even if there was war at first) so why should we assume Mexicans will?

I do realize now that maybe the meme I made seemed a little harsher than necessary. I didn't mean to make it seem like I was being racist against whites or anything, I'm just saying, they weren't documented and people are fine with that, so why shouldn't we be fine with today's immigrants?
