I used to have a friend who what always have DEM In front of any accounts on social media or gaming and around that time in my engineering class I would make jokes about bears and so people would scream across the hallway (to me) a number of bear related skits and jokes. I joined imgflip when I was in the hospital and noticed the popularity of Raydog and his several dog related memes and so renamed my name to DEMBears the first time I made it to the front page.
