I would put a mini version of the template then expand it out to cover the meme. That is how I did it.

As far as I remember, it's always been that way. It's only meme comments where they make you add something. :)

You don't have to add anything in the meme comment now either!! I've always had to type something in and change the font to 0 or it would tell me my meme was empty. :-) I may have just assumed the memes worked the same way and never tried to submit it blank without doing it that way though.

Raydog is the one who told me to use a period and just zero it out - it's how he does it. Soooo happy we can just post a blank img!

Ok, it just works via "add image" but custom templates still need at least one character

If you add Picard over Picard it works but it's just as easy to 0 out the font. I'm so sad it only works when you add an image.

Still works on memes, just not meme comments. I assume Socrates is right. I guess the memes have always worked that way and I just thought that since you have to do the font to 0 on comments you did on memes as well. I am going to look for the blank meme comment I made yesterday though LOL it's driving me crazy I know it let me comment twice yesterday with blank templates!!

It's an ID10T error. It only works when you add an image over an existing image/ it's still good to know though lol
