Obama was the reason that she got away with it. It's hard to understand why the people in his administration that covered up for them would reopen this investigation, but it certainly can't be helping her.

I get the feeling it's all getting to be too much, and the administration is not going to let her bring them down too at the end.

The number of times I've had to go through criminal background checks, FBI background checks and drug screening in my working life, is uncountable. She runs for president and couldn't even get a basic security clearance at this point, they wouldn't even let her on a military base as a vendor or contractor!

My take is this, pre-WikiLeaks the investigation could have taken down a candidate and a sitting president. Now that his name has come up last week, I think Obama is willing to let her hang in order to maintain some semblance of respectability.

Good point. Obama was emailing her regularly on an unsecured server using a fake name. He LIED that he 'found out about her email server through news reports.' Flat out LIED to the American People. And since he knows that 100% of all Presidential communications are considered to be classified until they're been analyzed and released, he's guilty (as is she) of knowingly violating Federal Law.

I think Comey realized how he screwed up the first go around and seeing Trump's momentum, decided he should "reopen the case" just in case he needs to tell his new boss 'we're working on it.'

If she winds up getting elected, he can easily say, 'We found nothing."

It could be, but I don't think you poke a calm bear that could be unchained to placate another bear that at the moment is comparatively calmer than what that poked bear will be.
