I used the "moon made of cheese" as an illustration. Another Imgflipper and I were debating whether God exists. I brought up creation as proof and he argued very well against it. I said everyone has a right to believe what they want, but that doesn't change the fact that He does exist. I could believe the moon's made of cheese but that doesn't make it true, and someone else could believe it is made of rock, and even though he is right, i still have the right to believe whatever I want. And then the other person shot back (rather intelligently) "Yes, but how do I know the moon's made of rock? It's been scientifically proven! How do you know there's a God? You don't! That's faith!"
I came to the conclusion that he was right. To a degree.
Your meme is awesome because I suddenly realized that anything can be debated and questioned no matter how "set in stone" it is. (i.g. genders, what the moon's made of, whether there's a God or not, you name it) but, like the other Imgflipper concluded, it takes faith to believe something.
Things can be proven, but people are free to accept the proof or to question/reject it.
In short: anyone can believe anything, anyone can argue against anything, and it takes faith to believe anything. And none of that changes reality.
