Yeah, the perspective I see it from is they want other users to be able to reuse the image and add their own twist to it. If the joke is already written into the graphic I can understand why they wouldn't want it as a meme. I'd be interested to see if a meme that didn't get featured because of that would be ok as a demotivational.
