More likely than not. Consider that our national debt would be gone and we would have federal surpluses as of 2013. That was the CBO projection when Clinton left office. But then we had Bush's 1 trillion dollar give away to the rich, 2 unfunded multi trillion dollar wars, and an economic collapse ushered in by Bush. I think it unlikely Clinton would have made the mistakes Bush made or suddenly convert to the insanity of trickle down economics. I am in the the deep south in a solid red state. All of the guys in my hunt club are die hard republicans and every single one of them say that they would have voted for Clinton if he could have ran.. anecdotal, yes. Everyone in my hunt club was doing well during the Clinton years and that changed and they suffered under Bush and are just now starting to recover. I am in the same boat. I don't know your age. But, if you were a working adult during the Clinton years, it is likely that you have not done better than during those years... unless you are in the 1%.. then good on you. You definitely won.

I had several jobs during Clinton, 1 was closed because of Clintons AWB. I worked all thru the Bush years , then Lost my job when Obama was elected. Lost retirement,I get no unemployment, no food stamps, and no health care. I now take care of a disabled vet for room and Board and pick up odd jobs locally and hunt and fish to survive. I am Now in Oklahoma and its slim pickings in this area for employment in my fields The Million dollar question is...What would Clinton have done if 9/11 happened while he was president ? And it is apparent Al-Quaida proliferated while he was president...

If 9-11 had jumped off on Clinton's watch the only thing I can guarantee is that he would not have invaded Iraq. I personally think he would have invaded Afghanistan and his focus and the only focus of the military would be to dismantle the taliban and kill Bin Laden...not rotate 300K troops through Iraq. Remember NATO and pretty much the rest of the world backed us in Afghanistan and we lost most of them when we went to Iraq. I'm not sure how all of that sorts out. I do know that with Hussein in power in Iraq, and Assad in Syria, there would be no ISIS. I sincerely hope your situation improves and wish you all the best.
