About the only thing I love about living in a small town is not having to deal with rush hour traffic anymore.

I served at NAS Miramar during Desert Storm.

I loved Miramar, both while is was NAS and after it became a MCAS.

I was in 29 Palms (a craphole) and my kids had to go to Balboa a lot for Dr appointments, so we would stay at the TLF at Miramar. It was cheaper than hotels and a nice base.
