Well, the math isn't wrong...

I'm sorry to be this one person, but I'm studying geometry and this doesn't add up for me.
All we were given is that B is the midpoint of AD. the triangle given doesn't say that B is a bisector of C. The only thing we can conclude from this is that AB = DB. If B was a bisector than we can say that angle ACB is = to angle DCB

Well... You're not entirely wrong, I'll tell you that, but when I said line AD = line DC, I meant in terms of length. While the two are not parallel but instead perpendicular, they are still congruent, thus proving that AC=DC. B's sole purpose, for sake of the joke, was to not make it seem like AB=CB, but instead make it say AC=DC. Thus, the reference to Back in Black.

Ah. My class hasn't gotten into proving length size yet (and with the pace the class is going at, we're probs not even gonna go into it until January, maybe late November if I'm lucky). Then again, modern school departments classify identifying side length as trigonometry, so there's also the chance I won't learn it until my Junior or Senior year.

Freshmen as well... Took algebra regents in middle school then? (assuming you live in America).
As towards proofs, we only just touched upon them. we were told the three basic ones of Partition Postulate, Addition Postulate, and Substitution Postulate.

Yeah, I took algebra last year but I gotta take it again during the summer because I got a C. You'd think getting an A on the EOC would warrant not taking it again.

Yeah. For my Algebra regents I got a 85, which I THINK translates into a B-? (don't quote me on that). My highest regents was a 93, and that was for ELA. For the ELA I just made up a bunch of bs that sounded like it could work. :P

Stop, no, I don't want to go back to geometry, I am in algebra now, much easier, only becuase for geometry, I had to write proof paragraphs to explain why AB=BC took too long

I actually really like geometry, it's easier for me because I can actually SEE what the equations mean instead of hearing or reading it.

Yea I understand, it was also enjoyable for me (geometry) but I just hated the proof paragraph thing I had to do, other then that I had a blast
