Didn't have time to get to it Sunday or today. I've also seen several other memes with the same thing since sometime Saturday or possibly even Friday evening/overnight.

come to think of it, it was yesterday or the day before that firefox did an update. i know i wasn't really on here two days ago but this did start yesterday.

It shows fine. When we're making the memes we can see the outline aren't there, and picking different default colors or even typing in a custom color font code won't make an outline show up.

yeah, as ghost says, i can see most other people's borders, but not my own and nothing seems to affect that

I, too, am using Firefox and having this issue. I'm the experimental type, so I tried unchecking Font shadow, then increased the shadow size, and it started shading inward. I filled out a Feedback to Imgflip on it.
