Well, what if your ancestors really didn't own slaves?

All people today, regardless of whether or not their ancestors owned slaves, benefit from free labor (slaves) building our infrastructure and making our economy thrive .. They even built the Whitehouse, too.

Mine did, and I read in a book that 12 escaped to the British during the war of 1812. Good for them!

It is a problem, I've seen discrimination. But also felt it in minority areas, which was surprising to me. My son married a minority too, and she's great.
