No, it's not. That's discriminating against people based on their religious beliefs. Religion does not contradict science, it actually helps it, and both entities shed a lot of light on the other. Counter wise, I could say that atheist teachers have no business teaching kids about world religions in social studies, but that would be just as stupid.

It's polarized...it's either atheist...or religious. Nobody can seem to keep their own stuff to themselves. Both groups seemingly thing their way is the only way...just keep it to the facts we think we understand. Throughout history mankind has been wrong before with what we thought was fact - and continue to do so, despite our arrogance. Liberals have become they very thing they claim to hate, and Conservatives have become to polarized as opposed to a common sense approach...both camps are beyond redemption. Loving the tenure when it's 'your side' but not the other? Solution is simple: GET RID OF IT. Pay for performance like any other job. You suck? You're FIRED. End of story and everyone lived miserably ever after.

Atheists have done nothing wrong to science. Weirdo Christians invent things like creationism. Corporations organize "science" to deny climate change. Conservatives called HIV/AIDS Gay Related Immune Disorder to push their agenda. What on Earth have the atheists ever done except say "hey, maybe we should be rational about this?"

We didn't invent creationism, we invented the THEORY of creationism. It is simply logical: the chance of human life being founded in a universe like ours is so microscopically small, it was probably the work of a creator, who used the processes of evolution, the Big Bang, and natural selection like tools. It all fits. What atheists have done to science is cut religion out of it, to answer your question. If you consider some religious theories, a lot more makes sense.

Just because she has no business forcing her religious beliefs on people, doesn't mean they're stupid. Religion does not contradict science, and she's probably only misguided, and confusing being outspoken about her beliefs with actually teaching them as fact. Don't be so mean.

When I was in College Political Philosophy tends to go up with tenure... Not religion... unless you count becoming Vocally Atheist/anti-religion.

The most Biased Prof I ever had was the Department head who would incert anti-Christian statements into barely tangential discussions.
