True, not many MIT grads become pro ball players. Still, they're opinion is just as important as yours and mine. I don't always agree with everyone, but I'll generally let them say their piece. If it's BS, I'll let them know.
I look at it like this: a lot of players, by the time they reach the pros, already know their career can come to an abropt halt from one bad play. They plan ahead. Many use their fame to become high profile in sports and entertainment, or any industry they choose.
Never judge a person by their profession. Mensa has members in nearly every profession, around the world.
