Wal-mart exists purely by legislative favor. First in Arkansas with the Clintons and then nationally with... oh yeah the Clintons. Wal-marts have ruined small towns from coast to coast.

I didn't really consider the store's impact on the community (I am an evil capitalist and have no time for such things).

What I thought was obvious was that the worst stores are in the worst neighborhoods. You could have replaced Walmart with any national chain store, restaurant, or franchise and you would have gotten the same result.

Big corps like that get tax credits for employees on assistance. There for keeping them poor

What were the criteria, for being "the worst?" Like, in revenue? Customer satisfaction?...

I read the article. It was Customer Service. Here's something really mind-blowing though: "Bloomberg found that sales per employee in the US grew 23% in the last decade to $236,804." Holy Shit!!
