Cops should keep crates of Jordans on hand for mob control.

lol I can see cops hurling nikes into a crowd of rioters.

The police officer uses CONFUSION. It's super effective! :{

Just throw one shoe at a time. They'd be scrambling and fighting among themselves trying to find a matched pair.

And they then deflect blame to the cops who were staring down the barrel of a gun that was held by a career criminal.

And when the BLM idiots (domestic terrorists) claim police are "hunting" black men, trust me ... they're not. IF THEY WERE, all black men would be wiped out in just a few days.

Try this ... don't break the laws set up by the politicians your society elected.

What I think kills any possibility of logically or reasonably justifying their actions is that IT WAS A BLACK COP!
[deleted]

Yep, but the way they get around it is by calling the Black Cop and Uncle Tom.

For starters, his first priority as potus was to FORCE us to buy a product from a private entity.

The ACA ONLY benefits the insurance companies.

Chew on that, and get back to us on the taste in your mnouth

How about speaking at a dead cop's funeral and being an apologist for the murderer that killed him?

But we know -- but, America, we know that bias remains. We know it. Whether you are black or white or Hispanic or Asian or Native American or of Middle Eastern descent, we have all seen this bigotry in our own lives at some point. We’ve heard it at times in our own homes. If we’re honest, perhaps we’ve heard prejudice in our own heads and felt it in our own hearts. We know that. And while some suffer far more under racism’s burden, some feel to a far greater extent discrimination’s sting. Although most of us do our best to guard against it and teach our children better, none of us is entirely innocent. No institution is entirely immune. And that includes our police departments. We know this.

And so when African Americans from all walks of life, from different communities across the country, voice a growing despair over what they perceive to be unequal treatment; when study after study shows that whites and people of color experience the criminal justice system differently, so that if you’re black you’re more likely to be pulled over or searched or arrested, more likely to get longer sentences, more likely to get the death penalty for the same crime; when mothers and fathers raise their kids right and have “the talk” about how to respond if stopped by a police officer -- “yes, sir,” “no, sir” -- but still fear that something terrible may happen when their child walks out the door, still fear that kids being stupid and not quite doing things right might end in tragedy -- when all this takes place more than 50 years after the passage of the Civil Rights Act, we cannot simply turn away and dismiss those in peaceful protest as troublemakers or paranoid. (Applause.) We can’t simply dismiss it as a symptom of political correctness or reverse racism. To have your experience denied like that, dismissed by those in authority, dismissed perhaps even by your white friends and coworkers and fellow church members again and again and again -- it hurts. Surely we can see that, all of us.

funny, in all this, I don't see any discussion of "personal responsibility" or the rampant criminality in the/by the black community. The fact that blacks are pretty much responsible for their own circumstances. I live in a multiracial community, mostly white. We never see police. There's no need for it. We simply don't have the kind of violence and criminality that you see the rioting communities. We're too busy being responsible, and working, and raising our kids, to be criminal and riot. Oh and by the way, perhaps these rioters should ask why they have problems in these cities which have been run by Democrats for DECADES. The last Republican Mayor in Detroit was 1962. In Chicago, you have to go back to the 1930s. And it goes on and on. The same Party that's turned cities into seething, boiling masses of poverty and violence wants to cast the blame on everyone else but themselves for the situation that exists. Until there is some honesty from the black community about their own behaviors in terms of children, crime, instead of burning down the local Walgreen's and demanding more handouts, you'll get a deaf ear from most of America.

He said a lot more than that. Read it all. And if you think one section of one speech was able to create/increase racial tensions you're either giving him way too much credit or you (that feel racial tension increased because of it) and those like you aren't stable.
0 ups, 8y
That he said more is irrelevant. I'm not saying that he was incorrect in making those statements, just in the time and place. These statements should NEVER have been said at a memorial speech to the dead police officers. It was the wrong venue. It made it sound like he was saying the killer was justified.
