DAY AFTER DAY AFTER DAY!! i look at weather map, and there is literally NO rainfall in southern Cali

Southern California is ALWAYS dry in the summer. The problem lately is that the rest of the state has also been dry, coupled with the water infrastructure not having kept up with the population growth.

That's pretty much the song I think of whenever I see the U.S. weather map and there is literally NO green blotches to be seen in that area.

I hear that! I'm so glad I live in Rhode Island. it may be in the mid 90s today and tomorrow, but we still get our fair share of rain. I'm in Riverside today because my sister is getting married across the street from the Carousel. What sucks is that I will be in a tuxedo half the day, and there's actually a chance of a passing thunder storm! Ugh!

That does suck!!! The heat index for RI is 104.... I have a cookout..... Which sucks as well... Be sure to get a photo in your tux for mending purposes. Congrats to your sister.
