Scurvy is caused by a severe lack of vitamin C in the diet. It can be successfully treated with typical, off-the-shelf vitamin C supplements.

The FDA does not allow these off-the-shelf supplements to state vitamin C will cure scurvy.

No argument here. Georgia just passed a law allowing possession of nonpsychoactive cannibis. Requires prescription and severe or late stage disorders.
