I'm in Washington. Unfortunately, it's made its way in our middle schools. :(. I don't care about adult...just the learning environment.

Yeah I don't think kids should be doing it. But if they are I can only blame the parents for not know what their children are doing. I have always been strict with my children, and kept them close. I've also told them that I don't care if they like me or not, it's not my job to be their friend but to get them safely raised, and educated to adults :)

Ya. I saw it in parent conferences. They'd actually ask the kid if it was ok for them to make a decision about the brat.

When I was a little boy and got in trouble I can remember my dad taking me by the hand, and taking a switch to my ass, and showing me I could walk in the air. Didn't take long to figure out I didn't like that crap, and it was easier to do things his way :)
