Which is why i said I know i would get a lot of criticism for this. I'm just comparing it to the fact that both bands are full of confident young men and had the same annoying fans.

Yup today's music from people who's names i can't pronounce and their songs are in english but can't understand the words.

Honestly, music didn't get good until the mid - late 70's.

Actually, that's when it started to suck....

No not really, 80's rock was great. You must have an old time bad taste in music, I assume like The Beatles? or Rolling Stones? both bands were horrible truthfully.

Try Yes, Genesis, Jethro Tull, Gentle Giant, Mahavishnu Orchestra, Jeff Beck, etc. '80s rock was boring, simplistic tripe. Dozens of bands that all looked and sounded alike.
